Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?
Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. He is a real inspiration for me. Of course for the artist he is, but principally for the human being that he is. I love every manifest he is putting in his work. I love his movement. I always love his conception, the space and formation of decor and dancers… He is a very complex, beautiful soul and it’s translated by his work.
What is my greatest extravagance?
On what occasion would I lie?
when I feel uncomfortable, or sometimes when I want people to love me.
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?
It is something I like and dislike at the same time. This presence of dance in my life. It’s more than huge for people knowing me. I am really passionate about dance in every definition of the word.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work?
During the residency in Antwerp, where and when I create Ohboy! with Inès Depauw and Benjamin Behrends.

Oh boy! It’s my first creation and real conclusion of a part of my life I think.

Where would I most like to live?
Den Haag, Netherland. It’s a very special place for me. I feel happy there and relaxed. I love biking there, going to the beach. Two incredible theaters with beautiful people and productions, NDT & Korzo.
What is my most treasured possession?
My mom, she’s an incredible person and power in my life
What is my most marked characteristic?
My passion. I am a very passionate guy.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city?
Tempelhof in Berlin, it’s a big park, an abandoned airport with a real notion of freedom there.
What is my favorite place to eat and drink, in my city?
It’s an Israeli place with a very lovely man working there. I think I like going there for seeing him actually. The food is also amazing. I have never been in Israel, but I really love their men and food.
What books influenced my life and how?
Maybe it’s stupid to say that, but reading Harry Potter was and is fascinating for me, how it’s possible to dive into a universe, to feel you are part of it. I am fascinated by the talent of this woman.
Who are my favorite writers?
Jeremy Victor Robert is a really interesting writer for me. I really like what he is doing. He helps me a lot for Ohboy! I believe a lot on his talent.
You Only Die Once. What music would I listen on my last day?
I think it will be a music composed by Niels Plotard in a few years for a piece I have in my head. We have already spoken about this music for a few years now, but yes, I think this will be the one I will want to listen on my last day!
If need to die tomorrow, I wish Benjamin Behrends sing a song for me, I don’t care what. I just want to be sure he continues to sing after my death.

All of my heroes are based in the real world.

There are a lot, everybody who is helping.. I would say, helping people, society or the earth. They are my heroes.
Which movie would I recommend to see once in a lifetime?
Taxidermie of György Pálfi
I always think of this movie when this question arrives, but it’s really personal. It has changed my perception of art that I had at this period.
What role plays art in my life and work?
Art makes me feel present and alive.
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime?
Frédéric Legros. I can’t explain why, I also don’t need to explain it.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018?
Michael Keegan-Dolan it’s an amazing Irish choreographer, he is a really incredible artist!

Which people in my profession would i love to meet in 2018?
There are a lot of choreographers and dancers I admire, like William Forsythe, Dimitris Papaioannou, Damien Jalet, Lisbeth Gruwez..
I dream to have the honor to meet them, but I am sure It will result in me turning red, losing my words and wanting to disappear.
What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on?
The movie Ohboy! it’s a this collaboration with h7o7films. Two very talented guys living in Paris.
