What is the best thing that I love about my work?

Certainly freedom. Is a job that, in spite of everything, make me feel free. 

What is my idea of perfect happiness?

the perfect happiness is to receive the unconditional love of my dog Dottie.

What is my greatest fear?

not to be able to work, to paint.

What is the trait that I most deplore in myself?

I do not like at all the light.Id like to love it, but I hate it.

Which living persons in my profession do i most admire?

different people, but most of all Francesco Clemente.

What is my greatest extravagance?

the craze for shoes and sunglasses, and hats too.

On what occasion would I lie?

every time I tell the truth to myself! To see and accept the chaos outside is less disturbing that to recognize it inside me.

What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work?

The ignorant gallery owners  and ignorant people that deal with art.
Except for the ignorant public. 

When and where was I the happiest, in my work?

A couple of years ago in San Francis Bay (South Africa and after in Cape Town (South Africa)

What is my greatest achievement in work?

The altruism. I should stop trusting of the other.

Where would I most like to live?

it’ s something I don’t often think about, cause despite all I live well where I can work.

My wife Giulia an my dog Dottie.

I paint pictures large and figurative

What is my most inspirational location, in my city?

Different places, especially in the countryside that surround the town. Places remained unchanged by time of my childhood.

What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city?

there is two places: Pizzeria Ristorante La Capannina and Ristorante Il Barolino.

What books influenced my life and how?

Many books in different moment. The three books that I bring in my heart, that come with me and influence me for a long time are: “L’immortalità” di Milan Kundera,” I Saggi” di Montaigne and “Canti Orfici” di Dino Campana. Particulary these three, I’ve read them countless time. From years they have been flowing in my mind.

the Art takes all of me.

My great friend Alberto Cornia.
