Writing means being honest, so it’s a difficult work. You had to tell the truth, even if it’s a fictional one, and you had to be able to manage the sharpest feelings. But sometimes something peculiar happens and the stories you write give you the breath back you were looking for.

Roberto Bolaño, Cesare Pavese and Louis-Ferdinand Céline are controversial authors who know how to go in-depth with their words full of passion and loneliness. This ambivalence is the vey core of the human pathos.
